Get noticed!

With the embc photo and video clip competition.

Why not share how you are using the embc network and services for teaching and learning with other children and teachers?

See your photos and or video clips published on the embc portal. You can submit as many pictures and video-clips as you like until the closing date – the more the merrier.

There will be prizes for primary, secondary and special schools in each category and winners will receive a fabulous Flip video camera. The Flip video camera is easy to use with one hours filming capacity.

Lots of great fun: just click, film and upload.

Categories are:

· In a classroom

· Elsewhere in the school

· Away from the school

Prizes

All category winners will win fabulous Flip video camera’s. They are the easiest to use digital video camera there is, with a one hour recording time. All you need to do is just press record and away you go; then plug in via the USB port and upload to your preferred location.

How to Enter

To enter the competition

There are just two quick and easy steps to enter this competition. The first is to complete the entry form available on the right hand side of the page by clicking the download button and the second is to then submit your photo or video by clicking on the enter button below that.

Photos should be no larger than 2mb and in Jpeg, Gif, Tiff, Png or Bmp format. Videos should be in Avi, Mpeg, Fla or Quicktime format and no larger than 2mb

If children are in the photo’s/video’s then parental permissions will need to be obtained by the school using the entry form link.

Remember, all entry forms must have the Parental Permission sections completed.

The closing date is 30th January 2010. Winners will be notified by email within 14 days of the closing date and prizes will be delivered to the school following notification. Winning schools may be photographed with their prizes.

All photo’s received may be used by embc in their communications material ie. Newsletter, portal, etc and in entering the competition you will be agreeing to this.
