The embc Launch Event 24 June 2008 was a resounding success. Held at Holywell Park, Loughborough University with over 120 attendees including the competition winners of the Netiquette online safety competition, the event officially launched the new embc Learning Network Services.

On the 30th June embc and Synetrix supported Northamptonshire’s ICT Conference where Northamptonshire’s teachers were provided with a full programme of speakers and workshops and a suppliers exhibition. The full range of branded collateral was available for this event and handed out to delegates throughout the day. The Derbyshire County Council ICT Roadshow 2008 held on the 12th June was supported by embc and Synetrix who joined the Derbyshire ICT Support Team on a stand in the Sports Hall. The new embc banners were unfurled for the first time and gave identity to the stand along with the Synetrix banners. The event was attended by @ 180 schools who were provided with seminar sessions and a suppliers exhibition.
